Just to clarify, McVeigh's bombing, while on Patriot's Day, had nothing to do with Patriot's Day.  It was the two year anniversary of the end of the David Koresh/Branch Davidian's standoff in Waco, TX, which was April 19, 1993. McVeigh committed his act on April 19, 1995.

But just to add to it, the timeframe of April 10-20 has always been a part of public tragedy in the US (Columbine was April 20, VA Tech was April 17) and personal hardships for me personally (two broken bones[ '90, '04], a collapsed lung ['96], an apartment burned down ['05] and a chronic illness diagnosis ['10]).  I have always hated this week.  I mean REALLY fucking hated this week and said so as much Sunday night only to wake up to this.

I've noticed that mid March is usually the start of yet another war. Mid April has other weirded out stuff.

looks like they're trying to clear a courthouse to bring someone in, but things have gone crazy… anyone understand this situation?

US Coast Guard and Boston police boats are also stationed in the waters outside the courthouse."

I was only speaking of things to have happened during my lifetime.

per what's going on in my twitter, CNN appears is making stuff up and lots of bad info out there… and the courthouse was cleared not because of a suspect but rather a bomb threat.  welcome to the 24hour news cycle..

so . . . explosion in texas today?  i say, i dont know yet.  all signs want to point to "please dont be another lunatic trying to make some stupid point because of waco and okc."  the dates, the fact it was fertilizer, so close to waco.  i really am getting sick and tired of people with mental problems.  maybe it was only an accident, but damn it, i am so controlled by conspiracy theories.

Well the person did spell "you" as "u" on his Facebook posting.  Therefore, I have no problem with him being roughed up by the police.  And he ran a 2 mile in high school so that is why he is at the marathon with a giant backpack?  Let the police investigate he might have done it.

So did Reddit get it right?  There was a lot of crowing going on in my twitter feed last night about it, but it would appear now not shaking out at all.  Plus, the Chan 4 "analysis" lead to scape goating innocent people.

It sounds like a guy in the hospital, who lost both his legs, came to and described the guys that did it to the police.  With all the photos shown about potential guys who did it is suprising their photos did not appear.
