Neutral Milk Hotel.

Spacemen 3 would be my dream reincarnation.  Favorite band.

I have seen Spectrum and Spiritualized live and both were extremely boring live.  Spaceman 3's live album is pretty unlistenable.  So while it would be cool in theory, in reality maybe not so much.
still better than a lumineers show.

Not really.  I left both the Spirtualized and Spectrum show early.  It is amazing that both bands are so boring live.

So did I. Enjoyed every Spiritualized show that I've ever seen even more!

Spiritualized is probably in my top 3 favorite live bands of all time, and "An Evening of Contemporary Sitar Music" by Spacemen 3 is probably my favorite live track of all time, period.  So, thanks, but where my tastes are concerned you clearly don't know what you're talking about.
I love JSBX live even more than I did in their 90s "heyday"…and Meat and Bone is solid..

They get my vote for best second act.

Cocteau Twins would be awesome as I never saw them live.

seconded.

and i'll go somewhat obscure and say it'd be nice for cousteau and prayerboat to regroup and release new albums seeing how it's been 10+ years.
Guys, not feeding trolls tends to result in their disappearance. Just sayin'.

An evening of contemporary sitar music is the worst album I have ever heard IMHO.  It is nothing in common with their studio albums.  Notice there is not much applause after the "songs" end.    Yeah if you like stuff like that you probably don't have much in common with anyone in musical taste.  I love Spaceman 3 on their studio albums.  Playing with fire is a masterpiece.    I doubt if they did a reunion their live sets would be anything like their live album.  If it did I don't think their reunion tour would go over well.

are you sure?

Checked out information about the live Spaceman 3 album.  Evidently it was just backing music for an art exhbit premiere.  So that is why they just play the same note over and over again for 45 minutes.  I question the sanity of anyone who listens to it more than once.
yup
