Lincoln Theatre question

So, to summarize, the seats are good unless its a hip-hop artist with whom I want to make eye contact?
I had front row orch left for Jeff Magnum and the view and sound were great
was front row left orch for Spoon, and it was lovely and loud:

I was fifth row center for Dr John

View and sound were great but he was definitely squinting a lot due to my flash photography..

perfectly fine unless it's a hip hop act.
That is an easy fix - turn down the bass.
What time do I need to get to the theatre to find two seats together?

Do I need to show up two hours in advance?

UP WITH THE ASSIGNED SEATING!!!!
what time are doors?
is it a sold out show?

I remember having a seat upstairs and watching a movie at a film fest.. I don't think there are too many bad seats…

Yeah, my concern is really just getting two seats. If I was solo I wouldn't care, but the last time I went (over a year ago) I just stood in the back as there were no seats left. I also showed up about a minute before the show.
If you arrive 60 minutes before show time, you'll be OK getting two seats together in the orchestra sides or even center in the back.

wow, I have never been to the Lincoln without assigned seats.  I show up during the start of opener and its so hard to find your seat with the lights down low, but the nice people who work there are great and they use their flashlights, like yoda in empire strikes back, to show you the way.
