I don't have the exact numbers, but the Cards were at bat for 8 minutes in the first 2 innings and the Sox were up for about 32 minutes or something. Insane. Was not expecting the Cards to get throttled like that in the first game. Looking forward to see how they respond.

Well, the Red Sox found their bats, I suppose.  That catch by Beltran was really amazing, even if he did mess himself up doing it.
for me it comes down to who has the most annoying fans.. after last night I definitely have to go with the Red Sox
Completely agree.  They definitely have the most annoying fans.
I find myself worrying that their stadium is going to collapse.
did we ever come to a conclusion . . . about this whole mary j. bilge
The announcers were going on about how they squeezed as many seats as they could into the place…like that was a good thing for the fans or something. They were also carrying on about Pearl Jam, so that's more evidence of double digit IQ's at work.

peep the passive aggressiveness.
I've been to Fenway.  The seats are tiiiiiight.  I don't know how most of America fits into them!
All the fat minorities are at the basketball games. All the fat suburbanites are at hockey and football games. Leaving the Ben Affleck clones to populate Fenway. So it all works out.

I think if the Cardinals pitchers are going to cheat, they should really try to win.

That was Lester.  He's on the other team.
Is baseball still going on?  It is deep into fall and soon it will be November.  They should shorten baseball season by about 20 games and get rid of the wild card teams.
ive said it once, and ill say it again . . . fuck james taylor
The first time in WS history that a game ended on an obstruction call and the first time in WS history that a game ended on a pickoff play.  And they happened in consecutive games.  Crazy.
