I thought it suggested that Tanya Donelly would be performing with The Throwing Muses thus uniting the original lineup. Instead, she is performing separate as a support act. Given the history of her and The Throwing Muses, the performance billings should have been totally clear.
Did anyone else find the Throwing Muses billing to be ambiguous?

That is what I thought it was. Why would she be opening at not performing with the band. Seems very misleading.
from what I've read from the NYC shows, Tanya will be joining them on some songs but not the entire show.
She did perform with them, just not the entire set.
Tanya's set was better, according to two friends who went.
