is there something going "on" against the black cat. this is the second article involving a guy shot by kids, where the black cat's name was mentioned. if the guy was shot in adams morgan, then why is almost stated in the first sentence of the article, " . . . had just left the black cat when it happened." to a dc outsider who may not know where adams morgan is, it sounds like he was shot near the black cat. hence, don't go to the black cat.

It is a bit unlucky for the reputation of the Black Cat though. I guess these two left the Cat and walked all the way up to Adams Morgan? If the shooting happened all the way up there, why mention the Black Cat? Perhaps it is a consipracy…

IMO, "nowhere near" is a valid assessment.

looking at that map, isn't it stupid not to just call a cab to take you wear you need to be.

"save a buck and give it to the kid who robs you." should be the motto of all dc cabs.

i left a comment on the nbc4 website for their bad reporting. we'll see if they post it.
