Podcast recommendations

I predict you will enjoy yourself immensely.

Oh, you're doubling down on that viewpoint. Great. Don't you have a woman to assault somewhere "who has it coming"?

So you, again, not only fail to provide any example of why Czaban is deserving of your ire but you turn it into a female sexual assault blast. You are a class act.

And they both downloaded properly to my device and played?

DPD doesn't work as well binge-listening to multiple episodes back to back as TAL does, but received in its intended weekly dose, it's a nice podcast. TAL is TAL.
Carlos wrote: TAL is TAL.

TAL is also NPR, which you said you didn't want.

I am well aware TAL airs on NPR. When I said I was looking for "something other than NPR to listen to" I meant I did not want to listen to the live NPR Now feed the entire way, not that I was opposed to all NPR-related properties.
This American Life is not an NPR show. It is produced by WBEZ in Chicago and distributed by PRI, which is a production house that competes with NPR's programming. TAL is often broadcast by NPR member stations, as well as non-member stations, but that just means a particular station subscribed to it. Serial also is not an NPR production in any way.

Just sayin.
this is shameless, i know, but this show is the best thing ever created!  It was on Sirius for 12 years, on the gay channel, until sirius decided to restructure the channel.  now they have gone to a pay service podcast.  you don't have to be gay to love it; they have plenty of straight listeners . . . and they don't shove gay anything down your throat.

part political, part sex advise, part pop culture, part crazy, all intelligence and awesomeness.

give it a chance, even if for just a month.

Pay?  Hell no.  They get to get some sponsors and go free.
People, like myself, who are obsessed with them would definitely pay. I signed up for a year from the start.

I was totally wrong about this . . . is not a "podcast."  This is a daily, live radio show, with guests and phone calls.  They do also, have a free podcast, but the pay part is for the live radio show.  They also a have a forum chat room which is crazy, a twice a year cruise for listeners, groups to joins for even more craziness.

You're taking single-malt whiskeys out of Relaxer's kid's mouths. . .
WTF is not an NPR program and has literally nothing to do with NPR nor, I believe, public radio at all.

But we'll still take your apologies.

To the bank!

He said:
"but Listened to the latest WTF on the way in to work today….sorry NPR"

He listened to WTF instead of NPR (his normal habit for that time), and felt the need to apologize for skipping NPR. (what I got out of his post, maybe I am wrong, who knows with him)

He did not imply that WTF was a program for NPR.

WHOOPS! Sorry, I'm always looking for an opportunity to give my "What NPR is" schpiel.

How is schpiel spelled anyway?

Regardless, turn NPR back on! My kids are happier when their dad sips on hundred dollar whiskey.

Uh, spiel.
