well I read what I posted…it said we suck…. not that many local bands… people don't pack the shows in.. that sort of thing

I agree, I've seen plenty of 2 night runs of bands and have been to waaay too many sold out shows
…DC may not be on the NYC/Chic/LA/SF level of local and touring artists…we get just about everyone that tours

the factors for this study have nothing to do with shows, how good they are and what's the likelihood of seeing a good band in a good venue
I mean Cape Coral-Fort Myers, FL
that is quite possibly the worst place for music
same with Lynchburg, VA
really, Lynchburg has better bands/venues than the DMV
study is useless
