New Eyelids record…
https://www.instagram.com/p/Bmv7Mg5hB4U/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link There would be no @musicofeyelids without the brilliance of our friend @tommykeenegroup. He was absolutely inspirational and so supportive of us—even dragging amps down to the club for us to borrow at one of our L.A. gigs. He made us laugh when we were hanging and would blow us away with his songs every time. Our new record is dedicated to Tommy—his friendship and songs lasting forever. Tommy Keene forever.

RAZZ (The) DOCUMENTARY - Directors Cut
AFI Silver Theater Saturday, April 29th at 5:30
https://silver.afi.com/Browsing/Movies/Details/f-0100003827RAZZ (The) DOCUMENTARY - Directors' Cut
Special Features: Post-screening Q&A with filmmakers Jeff Krulik and Richard Taylor plus members of RAZZ
Razz were one of the most explosive, entertaining and influential live bands in 1970s Washington, DC. From their start in 1971 to breakup in late 1979, a cast of talent — including lead singer Michael Reidy, drummer Doug Tull, bassist Ted Niceley and guitarists Bill Craig, Abaad Behram and the late Tommy Keene — became a wholly original rock band amid a club scene dominated by cover bands, and a record industry that found them impossible to label. This documentary tells the story of Razz, and will be screened in its extended "Director's Cut" form one time only at this special event, allowing the filmmakers to share as much of the story of Razz as possible — whether you're being introduced to their amazing tale for the first time now, or recall first-hand the many raucous nights at the Keg, Varsity Grill, Psyche Delly and more. DIR/PROD Jeff Krulik, Richard Taylor. Total program approximately 180 min.

Pretty sure one of my early Tommy Keene LPs says “management by Seth Hurwitz” on the back.
I have a Razz 45 floating somewhere around here…
That record Keene cut with Bob Pollard is fantastic. The last time I saw him -maybe 2006-he opened for Bob at the 930 but I can’t remember if they performed together although pretty sure they did…must have done songs from that record too although who knows
I don’t think Tommy Keene was at the 930 30th anniversary concert

He was. Even had his nephew on drums for a couple of songs.

Found the 30th show threadStrange how I wrote "little bird" instead of "little birdy". The LB was Doug Tull, my next door neighbor at the time.
