I saw them in NYC in March. My wife fell asleep, and I was pretty bored myself. They were just too fey and faggotty.
for many shows 930 Club charges a "best club in the nation" premium…. and although it may seem expensive just remember to divide it by two…

I am sure there will be a band or two I want to see come there. It seems to me the type of place that Dylan or Prince would have played at some point in their careers. Getting there is a pretty big hurdle for me though. It will take a lot.

I've never wanted a car before, but suddenly all that is changing. The promise of Vegas style Casino shows in my own back yard is definitely worth the price of a beater and city parking!

Without getting into the politics of Uber, it is possible that there are shows that I'd want to see enough to go out to National Harbor for. I've gone a lot farther. But I see MGM grand as a destination type of venue that will require destination type acts. Leonard Cohen would get me there. Someone like Bruce playing a smaller venue than normal. The type of thing that Vegas does with residencies. Otherwise, I just don't see myself going there. And I think there are a lot of people who will view it similarly.

I get that times change, I used to just walk up to 930 and buy a ticket and go see a band. Feel like I can't really do that as often anymore. Can't think of the last show I went to where I paid less than $35 to get in the door.
I remember when FSS opening was a rumor and Seth was 'battling' it and saying bands would charge more blah blah, but the bookings haven't really changed much but it seems the prices just keep going up. I get inflation and shit but dang sometimes it's a bit of a letdown to see some of the ticket prices.
