I predict Ted Nugent will receive the Kennedy Center Honor sometime during the Trump administration and will play the 930 Club during the week of the filming whatever year that is.. could be this year or any year up to and including 2024
I predict one more KISS tour with Ace Frehley the greatest guitarist to have ever lived (as is commonly acknowledged by everyone but Sweetcell). Verizon Center. Within the next 3 years…
I predict Grateful Dead related concerts in the DC area will continue to increase until 93% of all shows will have some connection to the Grateful Dead.

I put that Jane's Addiction album in the "What are you Listening to?" thread because I was reminded it was 30 years ago that I saw them open for Love and Rockets and record that album. The Joshua Tree was released 30 years ago, March 9. Social D's Ball and Chain was released on this day 27 years ago as a single.
And it's The Strokes that make you feel old?

As I'm a few years younger than you, some of your references are not things I had an immediate connection to at the time they came out. I love Jane's Addiction but I don't have an experience seeing them live 30 years ago like you do so it doesn't have an emotional/time anchor in my head the way that first The Strokes album (as one example) does.
Who thinks Ace is the greatest guitarist of all time? He doesn't even make the Rolling Stone top 100 guitarists of all time list.

He's not even the greatest kabuki guitar player.

And 30 years before that, Chuck Berry released his first album.
