yea… it was pretty disturbing.. i first read it to my kids and was like "OMG!"

I learned all of my relationship advice from this book.
This is the best book about chillin under a tree

i refuse to read the giving tree to my kiddos.  way too depressing.

My mother would read this to us at least once a month and breaking down into inconsolable sobbing within minutes. It was awkward as hell. I don't know why she insisted on doing that; its not like we were requesting as young children to read the dead mother book or anything.
