The Grateful Dead - 18 times in 1990

Tori Amos - 35 times in 2003.
PJ Harvey - 8 times in 2004.
Massive Attack - 8 times in 2006.

Sonic Youth-3 times this year

The Roots - 4 times

U2, 6 or 7 times in 1992.

pavement 7 times in '99

Phish - 10+ times in one year. Don't remember exactly how many.

interesting - i can't think of a band, other than a friend's bar-band in college, that i've seen more than twice a year. i *might* have seen coldplay 3 times in a 12-month period, maybe (HFStival/Nissan/MCI… was that within 12?)

So far this year I've seen Alejandro Escovedo 7 times, and am hoping for a couple more shows in December.

In previous years, 16 Horsepower, Chris Whitley, The Soft Boys, The Tragically Hip, The Jesus Lizard, and Thin White Rope were bands that I saw multiple times a year.
