My 10 year old wants to go to Coachella, She learned about in on youtube.

I was describing it to someone yesterday…once upon a time, a great festival in a unique atmosphere. So glad I went back when I did. Now, you couldn't pay me.

What happened?

We all got old.

I'd love to go, despite my advanced age. I think I'll head back to sxsw, instead tho. The lineups haven't been anything to get excited about.

my only coachella experience was awesome.  i'd go back in a heartbeat, but maybe i lucked out and happened to hit a great year?  if i went back maybe i would discover that the festival has gone downhill since?

when Vas & were there in 2006, the weather was amazing, lines were fast, getting in and out relatively painless, and the music was even better than what the lineup might have suggested (as in, i enjoyed discovering new bands as much, if not more, than listening to the acts that i specifically came to the festival for).  staying at a hotel with a pool and a hot tub in indio, as opposed to camping, made all the difference in the world.

Idris Elba was a DJ before becoming an Actor and has released a number of tracks over the years and continued to DJ

I’m guessing BlackPink at the club/Anthem  at some point.. They got signed to a US label recently and while their recent tracks are good, they still haven’t quite matched those first two singles
