I saw a local FOX report after the Nationals played the Mets in an exhibition game, and all five of the players they interviewed after the game were white. What are the odds of that happening randomly?

by white, do you mean english-speaking american? if you include "white" hispanics, it wouldn't be that random for all the players interviewed to be "white" …
if you're referring to americans, well, news services usually try to get interviews with people who speak english well, not a racial/ethnic bias, but there just aren't that many african-americans on the nationals
i read a really good article a while back encouraging sammy sosa to only give interviews in spanish because his broken english made him easily mockable and made him sound un-intelligent … i thought the writer had a very good point …

I had the sound off, so didn't actually hear what they said, but the five that were interviewed were:
Day, Eischhen, Schneider, Wilkerson, and Church.
I used to listen to a number of post-game Oriole interviews on the radio, and they certainly never limited themselves to those who spoke perfect English.
