Conflicts with the Michigan @ Oklahoma football game.

kickoff is still TBD, so lots of opportunity for the game to start early enough to make both.

There is no chance that ESPN/ABC (who gets Michigan on their airwaves just two times in the next decade) is putting this game at Noon EST (11a local) across from Fox's Big Noon Saturday. These are two of the 7 biggest brands in the sport – almost certainly destined for a 7pm or later kickoff, but at least 3:30p. Even with a private plane and an airstrip in Norman, this isn't doable.

Well, I am stopping in Chicago on my way home to see Supergrass with Miss P and her boo so I can only complain but so much. But yeah, horrible timing for me.

I went to one of those Flaming Lips bubble shows in OKC as Covid was winding down and while I also assumed the city would be ass, OKC is a pretty great little hipster long-weekend. It was a blast. Wouldn't want to live there but it was good times.

Damn, fans of female-fronted indie rock groups with light cinematic backgrounds are really facing a Sophie's Choice here.
Seems that IMP is the only one that will profit from this.
