Amazing how much tickets cost! I think the cheapest is $99….anything decent is like $375 and up

I read the service fees on a $500 are $100!

Sure, but Mick's got like 12 children by 15 different mothers.  That's a lot of support to pay.

What was the consensus on seeing the Stones in 2019?
Definitely last tour, right?
As a 30-something, if you've never seen them, is it worth it or best to imagine them from another time, still grasped to a thread of something resembling coolness? Growing up, I was a kid out of time, everyone else into the tail end of grunge and into pop-punk while I was definitely a Beatles, Stones, Clash and discount Blues CDs from Ross person.

It is worth it if you can get a good ticket up close…..otherwise I don’t think so….I saw them in 1997 from nosebleeds at FedEx and it turned me off them live until I chanced it in 2006 Balt from much better seats…night and day difference
It's an impressive performance for a bunch of 70-year olds.
their last good show was at altamont in 1969

I can't decide on that four-brain meme if this would be a 2nd brain hot take or a 3rd brain hot take.

was that considered a good show? other than the hells angles beating a crowd member to death I don't know if that was considered the zenith of their live shows
but I'm no stones scholar
. . . So somehow my wife, who is staunchly a Mick Jagger is a terrible singer and the Stones are meh, "twisted my arm" and we bought stupidly overpriced tickets while high on fast food and budget youtube documentaries about the band…
I'm not sure how I feel. I'm still torn by the feeling that at that echelon of performance opulence bands kind of blur and it becomes more about the concept of a band rather than an actual performance, but maybe my
To note, I haven't been to an arena/stadium show since I fell asleep halfway through an MC Hammer concert which was an 8th birthday gift.
