930 40th Anniversary in 2020

So the 39th anniversary of the 930 club opening was this week …the 930 account tweeted something like what should we do for the 40th


Any cool ideas?

The 30th was pretty sweet..concert at 930….Mould, Grohl, Rollins, MacKaye etc

The 35th we got to visit the 930 which was turned into an exhibit

They'll probably hold the 40th Anniversary celebration at the Anthem.

They almost have too….

I think they should have shows at all the venues and start doing an IMP fest and the 40th would be the kick off of the event

where they have a whole long weekend of bands and you can get wrist bands
maybe a shuttle between the venues

Come on Seth…we need something to replace the free fest
why do other areas get RiotFest, Hopscotch, NoisePop and other great weekend fests…but DC has nothing
this is your chance and you've got a whole year to plan
