I've been twice now. While I do love it there, there's an unshakable feeling that you're in a Black Mirror episode. Especially if you eat in the cafe.
Glenstone Museum
I’m very excited to go tomorrow as Vas turned up throwing me his non-bus tickets, a gracious act I have rewarded with a 930 Club gift card. Perhaps my reciprocal generosity will serve as a lesson in missed opportunities to those who would offer to Google things for me and then not follow thru.
It is still on my list if things to do. I haven't forgotten about you, I'm just a very busy man.

One moment while I google that for you.
Ahh I thought your comment was in reference to my offer to get you the information you were looking for. You must have been talking about something else.

I stand by my promise to you that I will get you the information you need. I am a man of my word.
And I support you in rising up against empty promises that the unreliable, inconstant and unnamed universe delivers. Our generosity in rewarding our allies with gift cards is our greatest retribution against those who fail to serve us, whoever they may be and wherever we may find them!
Solidarity!

Its really about promoting trust. As a community we need to work on trust. Then, and only then, will there be a free exchange of extra tickets and gift cards. Cornerstones of a healthy relationship!

Somebody give this man a gift card!
I keep forgetting to try for tickets! I love Andy Goldsworthy.

You dont need tickets to go to Glenstone.
sounds like the bus is a way to ensure admission
If you arrive without a reservation mid-day or later, we will make every effort to accommodate you, space-permitting. Please know we cannot guarantee entry for those without advance reservations, with the exception of Montgomery County Ride On riders

some day, the dream of Weblebrity is a Bitch Day will come true… i just know it will…
It's this kind of energy that would have saved Woodstock 50.

Anyone have any advice on getting in here with a "ticket"? Second month in a row I have been online at 10am on the dot only to find all Saturday shifts fully booked.
I've been dying for Julian's review of the Glenstone.
I have no idea what this place is. Is it new and if not why did it just now become a thread?
It's a private museum in Potomac that opened in 2017. They have 400 free timed tickets per day, that sell out 3 months in advance. I think it's great. They have art by Warhol, Pollock, Calder, Rothke and many many others. You should go if you can.
It's all modern, post-WW2 art, indoor and outdoor pieces.

None of those guys do it for me. I'm more of an expressionism guy.
Aah yes. They didn't put the seat down either.
