Has anyone been to this?  I ended up getting a free weekend pass and I've never been.  Good/bad experiences? Festivals scare me.

A close friend of mine went and said it was the best festival he'd ever been to.

Austin is great.  The lineup is mostly unacceptable.

I've been to Austin once for a wedding.  It's just like Brooklyn but the hipsters wear cowboy boots (for real).  I will try to survive as best I can.

Looking forward to GnR and Jenny Lewis.  That's about it.  If it was not free and for the fact I'm seeing an old fried who lives in California I would not be going.
