Contest: Predict next show to go on at Anthem

yes, it's only Mike Love and Bruce Johnston
and yes the rest started touring with them in the 2000's

did you know there are over 50 'beach boys' that have toured with them over the years

Glen Campbell did a short stint – vocals, bass (1964–1965)
Toni Tennille – keyboards (1972)
Daryl "Captain" Dragon – keyboards, vibraphone (1967–1972)
Mike Kowalski - this guy played with everyone!
Ricky Fataar - went on to become a Ruttle

I'm in the same camp, some good stuff, but they are not on par with the greats like the stones/Beatles and other giants
I'm sure it was different to be there at the time the music was released, but I don't think their music stands the test of time
I don’t even like Pet Sounds!

Anyways it’s depressing..this whole covid thing blows for a live music  lover

We know live nation will be fine but I worry about independent promoters

When this ends I am going to rock out crazee…concerts every night

It’s going to be like when prohibition Ended for a lot of people

I was dreaming of the same thing earlier today. I hope to never take a "pretty good" show for granted again.
I want an LCD Soundsystem party at Anthem or New Pornos at 9:30 to my first show back.
Beach Boys finally cancelled today.

Next shows still up on website are in April

This contest has now been declared vacant.

I thought it was just going to be a few weeks or at most months!

We are all losers here….

I just don't see it happening.
We really need to consider ripping the bandaid off and having concerts start up ASAP for those with proof of vaccination. Some people aren’t going to like it but oh well.

You would take your kids to a concert in 40 days?

Would they wheel the nursing home patients to the clubs, or just do the shows at the nursing homes?

the taking my kids was more…I don't like this band comment
I doubt it will happen

per space's nursing-home comment above, there isn't a critical mass of inoculated people yet.  you won't get enough people to make a DC9 show profitable until the general public starts getting shots.
to be clear…even before this covid stuff happened (I think this show was originally late march 2020)
tickets were selling REALLY poorly…Like 3 weeks before the lockdown it was possible to get 10th row tix

So technically if only 100 tix were sold for the lincoln, they could social distance enough to make this work ;)
If DC let it happen

Under current rules not the case

I know you were concerned, but that 2/19 Walk Off the Earth show has been canceled
Deftones 8-29
I'm going with Frankie Valli on 8-7
