in general, I hate it, my kids are on it constantly, doing weird dances and trying to get me to do them

This week’s This American Life, which is produced by NPR, [don’t worry guys, Relaxer will now be back within 12 hours] led me to believe TikTok goes by another name there and is a huge problem for the CCP’s Internet filtering attempts.

For the record, that is the ONLY TikTok video I have ever seen.  But true, I loved it!  Have yet to try and recreate it though…what am I doing with my time?

Only one Chinese national on the board of parent company, Bytedance (the founder, Zhang Yiming) and they just hired an American to handle their security.

I'm still not using it though.

it was amusing that after that "ban" was announced searches for VPN promptly went up…

so today trump said he would "allow" Microsoft to buy TikTok as long as the US Treasury got paid.  since his government was "enabling" the sale, he needs a cut.
