I miss concerts

Has anyone contemplated there might not be traditional live shows until at least 2022?

We are all assuming the vaccine will allow us to return to normal soon but not necessarily so….

Awful to think about

I think it’ll be before 2022 but it’s not like if there’s a vaccine in January we are returning to concerts in February by any means.

I'm just hoping my kid gets to start high school next year in person. Concerts would be a bonus. And I'm willing to sacrifice concerts, bars, and indoor dining to get the schools open. Though opening schools don't seem to be a priority.
Well am willing to “sacrifice” concerts for a lot of things but still a horrible reality for my life

I rely on concerts to make the rest of my life more bearable

I am fairly confident, that I am losing, my mind.
watched Tweedy show friday night, Deer Tick saturday night. I enjoyed, and don't regret, but Unsatisfying to say the least.
I was just refunded for Amyl and the Sniffers at Ottobar

I had assumed this had already happened not that I much care…

I really feel for bands that were on the way up - building their fan base- only to be stopped dead on the tracks…some will now never make it.. live music being so important in terms of $ it’s got to suck… a lot of these musicians that were on the way to stardom are now probably collecting unemployment

It all seems rather black these days
I received an email with a refund for Brendan Benson at U St.  There are 3 options:

1) IMP Voucher for 125% of face value (valid for 1 year from reopening)
2) Refund to credit card
3) Donate to IMP Family Fund
Ugh

We feel ya man

Can't believe the last time I was there was October 25th to see Sleater‐Kinney
Let’s hope can be there by October 2021

It only opened October 2017

six years ago, caught my one and only Diarrhea Planet show
Saw them at RnR. Not sure that was the same show.

Dragged the wife and she enjoyed them immensely. Won’t talk about them to her friends, of course.

I just bought tickets to see Bjork in Reykjavik at the end of August.  My thinking is, my girlfriend and I are vaccinated and hopefully most of Iceland will be by July - luckily the airfare has no change fees in case covid gets bad again (they had something like 50 new cases over the weekend).  It's going to be a weird experience for sure (fully expecting to still have covid-PTSD by the time it roles around)
