The, mixed drink, thread

Name your favorite concoctions:

Rumchata and Rootbeer

Malibu Rum and Mr. Pibb

Champagne and Pama

To paraphrase one of my favorite Mad Men quotes — cocktails have three ingredients; Malibu and Mr. Pibb is an emergency.
this is really the best for me: no sugar, light, easy: Gin (bombay sapphire), Lemon Seltzer (aldi), lemon wedge, rocks.
also, Whistle Pig Rye, 2 ice cubes.
sometimes, Jameson, Gingerale, Lime.

One minute you're on top of the world, the next minute some secretary's running you over with a lawn mower.
I've been working the perfect Margarita every Friday and Saturday.  At this point it's:

Fresh squeezed organic limes
Hornitos Black tequila (but I'm almost out, taking suggestions)
Triple Sec
Death Star ice cube
Salty rim
Top it off with a splash of Grand Marnier

I would drink that.

For margaritas, which I worship . . . I like, Casa Noble Crystal

I have maybe two margaritas a year but every time I do, I insist on Grand Marnier in it and it makes all the difference in the world. Not Cointreau – Grand Marnier always.

Truer words have never been spoken.
When I'm not crushing cheap beer or haze bois, I'm probably drinking a Paloma (Squirt and Don Julio Blanco) or a simple whiskey and ginger.
I love, squirt.  What's your, goto whiskey?

I admittedly am not a whiskey offciando, but if mixing with ginger, I typically pour 4:1 with bulleit.

sounds perfect.  i challenge you and the missus to a margarita-off: you both make your best recipe, and i'll judge.  and judge.  and judge.  then pass out.  the end.
I would road trip, for that.  I make, killer margaritas.
This is a good thread. We have Cocktail Friday every week. I need to figure out what we’re having tomorrow.

Couple of weeks ago we had this:

https://imbibemagazine.com/to-thursday-a-rum-punch-riff/

Basic ingredients and was very good.
Gin, ginger beer, ginger simple syrup, lemon juice, splash of soda water.

Bourbon, juice of 1/2 fresh orange, splash of ginger simple syrup, ginger beer, splash of soda water.

My "I'm not in quarantine, I'm on vacation drink" is:
Malibu and Myers rum, fresh lemon and lime juice, pineapple juice, a bit of small batch grenadine, and a splash of soda water.

That’s solid as hell.
this bearman, being a bear and a man, sure knows how to drink.
Liquor you might as well kill me

On the other hand am barely getting a buzz and am on my 5th 16oz tecate

I just want to remain a functional alcoholic
I jumped back into using the SodaStream so I'm Gin Rickey-ing it (heavy on the lime).
I'm trying to keep the carbs low and I like the fizz. Preferred brand is Tanqueray Rangpur infusion.
I tried making low carb simple syrup and flavoring the seltzer with lime essence, but the end result was a little to gin-ey for me.
