Lies is trash, it's only got "patience" going for it. spaghetti incident is entirely forgettable - who the hell has listened to it since 1994?
i will continue to defend my hot take that chinese democracy better than those two. it's what a contemporary g'n'r album should sound like. yes it was over-produced and gaudy and wasn't a fraction as good as Appetite… what did you expect? still better than Lies and Spaghetti. but i get it, its hip to exclusively like the old stuff…

My thoughts on GNR entirely.
Like to callback to another thread, this is not a band whose music has aged well at all.

i disagree with what you say, but i shall defend to the death your right to say it.
Appetite is a classic hard rock album. axl himself has aged horribly, by that gem from 1987 still stands up.

You are a grown ass man with kids. You're telling me in the year 2020, you are sitting around cranking GNR and going "you're in the jungle, baby?"

because that's the only way to recognize that an album is a classic amirite? THE ONLY WAY.

16 Horsepower - The height of late 90's early 00's Gothic Americana, and a fantastic live band.
