Is it just me or.....

…has this been a horrible time for music  lovers..I mean the last few years…since Bowie and Prince died it feels like we have had so many tragic deaths like Chris Cornell etc…Tom Petty…I forget all the rest but it’s been substantial..

And now we can’t go to concerts who knows til when! And when we do who knows what it’s going to be like?


Man things just kind of suck musicwise

I hope things turn around soon..

What a drag it is getting old.

Except none of the people I mentioned were old or died from old age…

Yup. I agree that it's been a bad period but I think this has a lot to do with it.  Musical styles (de)evolve so people lose touch.  And then our favorite artists die.

Petty's death was an accident, but he and Bowie made it to the late 60's, right? That's a fairly long life.

Well sure I guess getting older is watching everyone die but this seems like a stretch with a lot more suicide and overdoses than had been the case for decades
