Because we a bunch of bad news ninnies in these parts these days.. figured it was time for a thread of positivity.  And since A Ray Of Sunshine and Some Good News were already taken.  I present "The Bright Spots"

Hopefully, everyone has already seen the story about the guy who sheltered 70+ protesters the other night in DC.

Yesterday, VA State Rep Danica Roem and all around bad ass helped raise 15K to help rebuild Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Gainesville.  Church was set on fire by an arsonist in 2012.

Sort of in the grey area of positivity, but I enjoyed seeing certain entities getting dragged over their participation in yesterday #blackouttuesday event.  namely The Redskins, The SF Giants and ESPN.  I'm sure there were others…

Bonus it appears that The Bright Spots is available for any aspiring Power Pop band.

I mean that would be a thing if it were happening any time soon, but there's no consensus on the Hill, and Trump and McConnell have called the House bill dead-on-arrival. Have you heard anything different?

Saw the capitalization in the title and saw the topic starter and I was certain this was going to be about a side project by members of The Magic Numbers.

I think they're opening for the White Stripes in 2021.

I went to the howard county protest yesterday in my car. I have been in isolation because of asthma, and was sad to not be out there walking with everyone. There were SO MANY people there, both walking and in cars. It was inspiring to see so many young people. It made me hopeful that change will happen.

My 10 year old son tells me “I found a deer head!”


I am like “no you didn’t”

He goes to his room and next thing you know brings a deer head..a young deer
