Pandemic Weight comparison thread

Since the pandemic how is your weight going? Have you put on a lot of weight?
I feel like I am about the same - 160- but a little more in the belly…Twenty years ago I was at an unhealthy 140…but last few years been edging up
I don’t feel like I am eating more but probably more beer and no exercise plus my metabolism is slowing
I was just starting to ride the Nordic track bike a few weeks ago but stopped due to my neck issue.. I like to ride in Patagonia…I don’t pay any attention to the woman leading the ride

Lost 10 lbs from May to July. Have since put them back on. I do drink a little more now that I’m home all the time but I also lost my mojo as the weather cooled.
I hate the f’g winter.

this year has been particularly bad on the hatch waistline
I think I had already gained 5 or more lbs by summer, but post-injury I put on about 10 more
I used to have a lot more movement in my daily schedule and I would always do things to get a little more (take the stairs or park far away)
but when sleep, eat and work all within a few hundred feet, you just never get that extracurricular activity
I'm not burning that extra few thousand calories a week, plus the kitchen cabinets are always filled with carby food
If I'm moving out and about, I'm not stuffing my face with food.
New goal is to walk the dog 30 mins a day and try to get back into exercising regularly…always hard to do in the winter, but I'm feeling extra motivated to be outside, even if its cold
Really trying to limit the snacky easy shit…It's a struggle
the beer styles I like tend to be high calorie too

Pretty sure my wife has you all beat.
But her pandemic workaholism did earn her a 10%+raise.
I've probably gained 3pounds or so, but 25+ total since my last marathon in 2013. I do make it a priority to work out daily.

I've maintained my weight, and have run 16+ miles every Saturday since June.
If anyone is looking for motivation and accountability, I lead a weekly 6-mile hilly workout…everyone's invited.

wait, I don't know about these techniques?
I do agree that others keep everyone honest, I never ever would miss something if I knew someone was waiting on me
But, I've been a solo exerciser for almost 20 years
often to my detriment, as I will let my self down before I let someone else down

Where do we put COVID weight loss/gain in our chart of topics to brag about?
[li]Vaccination Status[/li]
[li]Did you get a stimulus check[/li]
[li]Have you seen Aphex Twin[/li]
[li]Dick length (ladies excluded)[/li]
[li]APR on your home loan[/li]
[li]Post count[/li]
[li]Have you sexually assaulted a massage therapist and gotten off pretty much scot free?[/li]
Between APR and Post Count or above APR?

Damn… aren't you at least 6'3''?
I gained 10lbs from the first few months of quarantine where I did nothing but eat and drink for two months straight…
I'm slowly picking away at that weight and would like to lose another 10 to 15lbs for the helluva of it. I exercise basically daily but I live a life of gluttony. I am on day 14 of 100% sobriety and feel pretty good though.

Beard length would be a contender for that list
significant home improvements are done by a bordie (doesn't count if you paid someone)
Also, first to call an election seems to be important as being first on the Dropping like flies or Groper thread

my weight fluctuates 5-6 pounds, and has been steady in that zone for at least 2 years. i was expecting to gain, but a benefit of working from home was investing some of the time saved in commuting into some time on the elliptical. appears that that little boost in activity has offset any pandemic binges (either that, or i hit my max weight long time ago and can't really go above it?)

definitely below willingness to move.
