I splurged and found a copy of the live 8 LP box of the Velvet Underground “The Matrix Tapes”
I have wanted it since I realized it had gone out of print a couple of years ago….doh
Anyways should be here Monday. That’s my present to me.

It's my birthday month so I splurged a little.
Just discontinued by Moog. Bought one of the last ones at Sweetwater; plenty still available elsewhere.
7-CD set w/ B-sides (but not all of them…).

i too have recently splurged on music gear. i have done very little noise-making since moving west, and i have decided that 2022 is the year that i get back into it. accordingly, i am praying that the missus doesn't learn how much i've spent on:
- KiloHearts Ultimate bundle, AKA Phase Plant and all snap-ins (their december sale made it hard to say no, so i didn't)
- MOTU M4 soundcard (my old one is firewire - anyone remember that?!? my new laptop doesn't)
- AKG K 240 MK II cans
still deciding if the old monitors need to be upgraded, but i can wait on that.

Nintendo Switch!!!! So excited. Always wanted one. Was lucky to find one. I bought the damn thing, just to play the new Metroid.
