CD stores in the area of 17th and I May 20, 2004 at 03:33 PM UTC #

I'm in training, like to grab a few CDs at lunch. Anything within short walking distance of 17th and I St. NW? Closest I see is Cd Warehouse: it's a mile away and the one in Laurel sucks, so I don't expect this one to be better.

the CD Warehouse in Georgetown rules in my opinion

otherwise there is olssons at dupont, borders at 18th and L(?) or Tower by GW or Melody above Dupont

Borders is close - 18th & L - but kinda suck

Thanks. CD warehouse in Laurel has high prices and poor selection. I can imagine Georgetown has a better selection but can't see the price being better.

Oh well, maybe I'll wander to borders just to get mobile.

walk another two blocks towards Dupont and go to Ollsons - better selection and, for the most part, cheaper prices
