Posts of the Year - 2006

a solid ggw vent
Ah yes…my Birchmere question. An all-time classic! But that was from 2005…so I hardly think it qualifies. That being said, it seemed like at least a few folks chimed in with serious responses.

The real question is has anybody ever eaten at the 9:30? Anyone go to the 9:30 for the food? I remember when the club opened up someone got me a Frito pie…literally a bag of Fritos opened up and served with chili and cheese. I had a mouthful on a dare. Haven't had a bite of 9:30 food since then.
i love tampa
i guess we were all wrong

that was by far the funniest thing i have read on this board. highly recommended, gets my vote for POTY.

smakie gets an honorable mention for his comment in the "Lance comes out of the closet" thread:

And for the record, Lance Bass was gay long before he was a homosexual.
I just read that whole thread. Classic. "He's the homo wearing the makeup."

Wow. I don't remember that one at all.

I do remember the dad asking if James blunt was going to use the explicit lyrics for his show because it was an all ages show, or if it was safe to take his kids because he was going to use the PG-13 version. That was classic.
LOL I think LOL the best LOL post evar LOL

Kosmo and eddie can now be seen on the back of milk cartons everywhere…

The great disk space outage of 2006 swept away Kosmo and Eddie who will hopefully be found soon rather than later.

And anyone missing friday forum action, should have been outside enjoying the nice weather anyways…
You are a fucktard who registers with different usernames in order to cause controversy on this board. When I see a post from you, this is how I read it "Blah blah blah blah, Kosmo blah, blah blah Eddie blah blah…."
Do ya miss them?
better watch out and be nice evilsanta was lurking around this am….

i dunno Middle Distance Runner is still working pretty hard to establish there name out there, were it not for those pesky day jobs they might be in a van touring the country right now. maybe they are waiting for the big PHAT record contract to come about so they can tour in Style!

Actually, Dead Meadow have done very well…..except in DC. The rest of the world loves them.

Alcian Blue also has a fairly big following outside of DC, especially amongst the Shoegazers.
