explosion over DMV?
latest unconfirmed explanation is that several fighters were scrambled at supersonic speeds to intercept a non-responsive civilian plane headed towards DC, and the zombie cessna crashed near Staunton, VA before the fighters got there. so booms heard/felt could have been the plane hitting the ground, or the supersonic boom of the fighters.

I have no idea how a plane flying on silent mode could have flown straight through DC restricted airspace. Why didn't they intercept it over Delaware?
