Oh come on, Simmons has had some GREAT columns this year. I still read everything he writes.

twas a fun read, but definitely on the weak side and he was too easily swayed by the propaganda sent his way by various fans….still Spurs are my sleeper pick for this year and now havw $$ in the bank to spend after Man U's disastrous purchase of Carrick

He is a great writer, but he should stick to sports he is more knowledgeable about. As a fellow Boston sports fan, he's a joy to read since he devotes A LOT of time and effort to Boston related issues; case in point the recent column debating who was more clutch, Larry Bird or David Ortiz.

yeah but chelsea can't be a sleeper pick as 2 time defending champs and the arse have a pretty amazing record over the last 10 years given their meagre resources
