Of course out of the blue we get a posting from Kate Bush about this which I'm sure made people take notice, I do like how I saw someone  say this is Kate's first appearance on a studio album since 2011

Ghost: “Skeletá”
April 25th

first single: “Satanized“ (big 80's vibe, IMO…)
Car Seat Headrest: The Scholars
May 2 via Matador

"It’s an ambitious double-LP rock opera: “Set at the fictional college campus Parnassus University, the songs on The Scholars are populated with students and staff whose travails illuminate a loose narrative of life, death, and rebirth,” is the album’s official log line."

first single: Gethsemane (“Rosa studies at the medical school of Parnassus University. After an experience bringing a medically deceased patient back to life, she begins to regain powers suppressed since childhood, of healing others by absorbing their pain. Each night, instead of dreams, she encounters the raw pain and stories of the souls she touches throughout the day. Reality blurs, and she finds herself taken deep into secret facilities buried beneath the medical school, where ancient beings that covertly reign over the college bring forth their dark plans.”)

Grateful Dead Releasing 60-CD Box Set for 60th Anniversary, Share Live Songs: Listen
Unreleased performances from shows between 1969 and 1994 make up the mammoth Enjoying the Ride

because when one gets to the end of a of grateful dead album, one's thoughts naturally fall to "you know what i need right now?  59 more of that."
How did deadheads go from freely exchanging tapes to buying shows for hundreds of dollars?

And they won’t rest until they have every single show!!

I find it obscene. Paying hundreds for one show spread out over 4 LPs including tracks often broken up over different sides.
Radiohead?

The five members have set up a new limited liability company which seems to often be a precursor to action. They did the same previous go around as did The Smile. Beta Band did the same last year.
