i'm likely in for the mainstage shows, but yikes another 3 or 4 hours at DC9 would be really rough…
wow, sounds fun
In for the Black Cat shows… there also single day Black Cat tickets…
considering the DC9 locals show
considering the DC9 locals show
Someone really has the nerve to call themselves Faith/Void and play in DC?
Was listening to the festival playlist they posted and there is really great stuff and many discoveries on it… i fear for my wallet both with bandcamp purchases and merch at the festival…
i feel as there are lots of bands that fall in some of our wheelhouses, had meant to checkout Pinkshift and they are totally tearing it up

Counting down the days for this, two passes are reported as being low

I'm about 90% certain i have to miss the Saturday Black Cat show if anyone is interested.
So you’re saying there’s a chance?
That 10% is just in case my daughter disowns me as her father before her birthday party on Saturday evening. Probably won't but it's not outside of the realm of possibility, i suppose.

See, this is all I ask! Note all of this "we love you dad and want to spend quality time with you" nonsense!

Whoa did pinkshift ever deliver one of the best sets I’ve seen of late, the singer has a great voice and a total ball of energy the entire set. And the band just rocks so hard, seems like they should be much bigger.

Imo this is the band Baltimore should be freaking out about, not fucking turnstile.

Let the record reflect I agreed with the Holy Kosfather’s homily before others found it fashionable to do so. This sort of change agency could be effective in solving The Monte Carlo Crisis in a boots-on-the-ground role. I am not suggesting this, just many people are talking. There is a lot of talk.
I only felt safe to post after you did

Such synergy.
So besides the pinkshift set, first night of the festival was solid fun
Had checked out Pop Music Fever Dream and was feeling indifferent about them, but with a bad ass rhythm section and lots of guitar antics they kicked things off perfectly
Was looking forward to Greg Freeman having enjoyed his album this week. While a bit of that Neil Young like vocal was there, his songs reminded me a bit of the storytelling of the Drive By Truckers. Would totally go see him again with a full band. Audience was a bit to chatty during his set.
Pretty Bitter a band clearly having a blast playing live, hard to fully describe their sound it’s a little of everything. Their drummer was perhaps having a bit to much fun as nkotb’s favorite antics were on full display with much stick twirling and mugging.
The Ophelia’s set was interesting if a bit ragged, likely not the best venue for them.
Enjoyed what I caught of Home Is Where, but I was running out of steam so left half way through.
No after party for me given a whole more night and possibly going down early for the locals show.
