Pittsburgh is a shit hole

we used to go to the upstair of the beehive all the time. does he ever play here? i remember a few years back he was supposed to play galaxy hut but had to cancel

I actually haven't seen him since 1995 i think. I was working at WPRB in princeton, NJ at the time and i knew them through my friend (and their occassional roadie) John D. so i got them to play on air, and they stayed in the dorms of Founders Hall where the station was located and one of them…i think it was Tom, was really wigged out they were going to get discovered because it was during the summer and no one was supposed to be in the dorms.
They were going to play a show that night at the Khyber in philly, but the khyber hadn't thought to renew their liquor license (it was july and the license expired on halloween) so the LCB shut the khyber down, and instead of opening the next day (the night KHIII were to play)and just serve sodas, they remained dark.

Having a disussion about which is a bigger shit hole, DC or Pittsburgh, is like sitting on Death Row debating between electrocution or lethal injection. In the end, it doesn't really matter because you're screwed no matter what the outcome.

to be fair, no one said that pens fans were the best, never said that they were the greatest team, just better than the caps. and you were pretty dismissive about the caps attendance problems too. its pretty funny that you try and win the thread with quotes from punters on the internet because the caps cant win against the pens. i mean, the weather isnt going to stop the caps from scoring goals on themselves. so yeah. silly

Considering no one has posted in this thread in 12 years, it's probably not relevant… However, other than a large population of pear shaped yinzers that lean towards the right, basically everything about Pittsburgh is pretty awesome.

Have not been to Pittsburgh in 20 years but I did recently visit Pitchfork. It is indeed a shitty little website.

I once took my mom to Pizza Paradiso in Alexandria and she proclaimed it the best pizza she had ever eaten. And she's been to a lot of Pizza Huts in her 78+ years. Though she's never been to Pittsburgh.

Of course, a couple years (2019) later I took her to Rustico in Alexandria and she proclaimed that to be the best pizza she has ever had.

She also once proclaimed Patch Adams to be the best movie she ever saw, though I don't know that she's still holding onto that opinion.
