and mentioned of glowsticks, i'm worried about the browd tonight. luckily i'll have my pacifier with me, and can just suck away the tension. Will they be selling vapor rub at the merch booth???
Justice Roll Call
don't think so, but you can probably borrow some for the cool chick in the fuzzy pants, over in the chill-out room (back bar?!?). plur!
Oh, man, I'm totally not going to this, but is it alright with everyone if I post what I would wear if I was attending?
please - i can't wait to hear all about it. lemme guess: skinny jeans, that have only been made "skinnier" over the past few years?!?

Hmm… if I was going to Justice, I would wear my girl jeans. Size 5/6 long, Versace Jeans Couture – little loose, but I can't fit in a 4 to save my life. They're a little darker then I'd like; I'd probably prefer them one shade lighter on the stonewashing scale, but they'll do. Brown oxfords, probably my Brunos. It's a bold choice for a dancing concert, but I think I'd go with it anyway. Stand out, ya know? Then I'd wear my maroon and grey striped Banana Republic polo with my maize tshirt with the giant blue Michigan "Block M" on it. If it gets hot, I can lose the polo, and go from casually well-dressed to ironic hipster tshirt look quickly, and both tops would accent the dark blue in the jeans well. Yeah, that's what I'd wear if I was going.
Man, if I only I had tickets.
dancing at a packed show is like participating in a statistical mechanical spin system.

sure people were bouncing around at the hives show, but thats not really dancing is it? one would have to suspect the main floor of the club is going to more packed than usual tonight with all those wanting to get into the music
Originally posted by sweetcell:What I find crazy is people complaining about people dancing and in previous threads people complaining about Justice not doing anything on stage except pumping their fists… and my response was that it's a giant party with dance music being played MADE to make you party. Yeah bumping into people makes me feel like a dick and I do apologize but if youre standing still tonight then be up on the balcony instead of giving people the stink eye for dancing and bumping into you.
Originally posted by DeathFromAbove1979:it certainly can be when the club is packed shoulder-to-shoulder, as it almost certainly will be tonight. one person dancing = several people around them being constantly bumped. *sigh*.
Yeah, people dancing and having a blast is so god damn annoying at shows.

nkotb, i do hope your broken meter/meeting picked up on my sarcasm at least. if not: no, i was not being serious. between the asking of "what are you going to wear?!?" and mention of glowsticks, i'm worried about the crowd tonight. luckily i'll have my pacifier with me, and can just suck away the tension.
Originally posted by kosmo:agreed. for the sarcasm impaired, this is my real concern about tonight. i believe that i mentioned this before: not much of a stage show/light show = visually boring. music is kick-ass, but no room to dance b/c club is packed = frustrating. seriously, i give myself a 50% chance of making it all the way through the show.

the set times have been posted… i might need to leave before the end to catch the last metro anyways:
Doors 8:00
Busy 9:00
Justice 10:30
Unless theyre dicks.
ALSO thank god that rapper isnt opening tonight… at least according to the set times posted.
there's consensual mutual bumping or collectively synchronized bumping that's okay within threshold, then there is the wild bumping by the dicks, who are often way smaller than average or way bigger than average.

is anyone going to MSTRKRFT instead of this tonight? consdiering it .. but will depend on if i can find someone to go with/ i'm not uber gross after practice.

Originally posted by DeathFromAbove1979:100% agreed - but the issue is that the place is packed like a rock concert. you can't dance comfortably in that situation. if they let in half as many people, there would be lots of room to dance and i'd be thrilled with a justice show. and i probably wouldn't notice the lack of a stage show. as i said before: justice, in their current form, belong in a dance club or a warehouse - they're a DJ act, not a rock concert.

They'll never be a rock concert, and believe me this will suffice. At least it did at Sonar. WHen they drop their "Skitzo Dancer" remix, the place should erupt.

I still have about 6 pounds to go to get to my ideal weight of 166.

What I really need to do is resume tanning, though. I'm pasty as all get out.

i'll be at home tonight… listening again to the Kevin Saunderson's mix of old school house and techno streaming from http://paxahau.com/node.htm (sorry no link it's all flash site, it's under audio archives from 10-24-07) listening to this mix makes me realize what a crap trainspotter i am… i'm like wait i know this track then draw a blank as to who released it

Jogging is a silly exercise or mode of weight reduction. I once made fun of a gal pal for jogging and years later she was mentioned in the pages of this village's local paper for having broken her ankle.
