We used the Virginia website prior to buying our house.
I couldn't understand why so many "custodians" were being arrested for child molestation. Didn't the school system have something in place that screened out the bad apples when they were hiring their cleaning men?

I've got one listed about 3 blocks from my place……damn……I don't have kids,so not worried about that……and if anyone would be stupid enough to try to enter forcibly…..I'll be calling the meat wagon shortly afterward……
Two within a half mile of me. I'm fairly certain one of them drives a silver Miata with an oversized bumper sticker that reads "Bush Terrifies Me" If it is that dude, then the sticker has just taken on a whole new meaning in light of his crimes.

Eesh, there are 4 within my zip code…one apparently living a couple blocks from me and is currently "under investigation."
Even more disturbing, the guy is classified as a child sex offender and there's an elementary school a few blocks up the road. :eek:

The pervs to be most worried about are the ones labeled "Violent Sex Offender" & "Child Sex Offender".
If you see one marked "3rd degree sex offense" or "4th degree sex offence", I think that those might refer to the Jimmy Page horndog rule? If so, then are not these 3rd & 4th degree perps to be praised, not vilified? (But then again, I'm no lawyer…)

I have 83 in my Zip Code. 2 living within 3 blocks of me. 1 for Child Porn and another for Rape/Kidnapping. there are even some women on the list for my zip code.
Great. One on Ft. Meade (20755) about 1 mile from where I live, and 1.5 miles from the NSA compound on the post. It wasn't long ago that this sort of offense would get you barred altogether from the installation, much less making your residence on the base.
