You might be interested to know that Sleater Kinney will be playing the 9:30 club on April 22 with the Thermals. They will also be playing Recher Theatre in Baltimore on the 21st. I don't see the date on this site; I guess because the tickets haven't gone on sale yet. But the dates are on the band's official site.

but i am intrigued by the thermals. anyone know anything about them? what songs should i seek out?

I don't read the Just Announced thread either. It's too long to scroll through all the posts about bands I have no interest in to find something I am interested in.

Thats a good answer, besides i liked being suprised when the new 9:30 list comes out on Wednsday or Thursday. Its the small things in life!!!!!!!!!!!

tickets.com is showing Sleater-Kinney tickets going on sale 3/18 at 10:00.

How anyone can listen to, much less enjoy, that steaming crap-pile of a band is absolutely amazing to me. They suck with the power of a dozen black holes.
