I think tickets.com was having some drama this morning. I just bought my tickets with no problem— almost 8 hours after they were listed as Sold Out… jeez… if I were the 9:30 I would be raising hell with tickets.com for their crap technology because I am sure some people saw Sold Out, refreshed it once or twice, then gave up and won't bother checking back.

I've seen the B-52's a couple of times— once they were pretty lame but all the other times, they were highly entertaining, so I'm thinking this will be a fun show.

That festival with the Bs and Lauper would be cool EXCEPT Rosie O'Douchebag is the MC. How in god's name can anyone in their right mind think that having HER associated with their function would be a positive thing. She is such a shrew and carries such negative energy about everyone and everything. I would however pay to see someone run up on stage and punch her square in the face. That would be funny as dirt.

The June 7th show at DAR doesn't have Rosie O'Donnell. I think the excellent Regina Spektor is taking her place. Teagan and Sara are cool, too:

i'm not sure if i'm tired and over all the freaking women singers and bands that supply entertainment to and are supported by the gay fan boys who are looking for something to do besides the boring butt stares at bars and nightclubs just to be date rape drugged at. b52s, madonna, annie lennox, cyndi lauper, or any overweight black woman from any decade, not just the eighties, apply here.

i do like the fact that the b52s might sell out quicker than lou reed. andy is smiling in screen print.
