i was so disappointed with his latest album, this coming from a big fan of SDRE and the fire theft

The new album is quite good. I'll probably go if I have someone to go with. Not sure about this RnR venue…it's in the NE section of DC…hmmm…how's parking there, btw?

The area is no worse than the 9:30 Club or DC9 (which granted isn't saying much) but parking is better. I've been able to find a space near the club every time I've been (about weekly since it opened). Cabs are still not coming out there as often as they'd like but there is a free shuttle that runs continuously to the metro. They have a great soundsystem, good lighting, and a sweet DJ setup for a small venue, plus a really nice lounge on the 2nd floor and cool staff. Tomorrow, Friday, Radio 4 and Statehood (ex-Dismemberment Plan) will be there + DJ's Rubber Bullets (ex-Q And Not U) and me. I don't own the club or anything, I just really like the venue and love DJing there and recommend supporting the new area as there are lots of cool events happening there.
