Did she stop over to the WoSF? Maybe that's who I was dancing with in the ladies room.

hah! i don't think she made it over there … i'm assuming "dancing" is a filthy filthy metaphor?
With your girlfriend?

just messing around…
Yeah, that's what Freud said. ;)
thanks for the kind words, jag. that was one of our very best sets, and i think we even surprised ourselves at how well that came out. with 100% improv, you never know where it's gonna go.

best bands that night were a place to bury strangers and soundpool. antiques/alcian blue slowdive collab was great, too. most of the other stuff was mediocre and boring, too many fucking drum machines. stellarscope sounded like they'd be great with drums, but without, they didn't seem to know what to do.

sonic circuits next weekend!
Here is one we just had in Colorado that is now in its third year:
South Park Music Festival

And you get drunk faster because you are above 9,000 feet.

Of course a drummer would say that about any band who uses a drum machine. All drummers hate drum machines. LOL.

I thought that Grayland put on a good show too.

Sorry that Soundpool had to leave before I had a chance to introduce you. If you would like to book them, I'll get in touch with them. I'm sure they would like to play DC. Also, if anyone would bother to give you and I a chance regarding our recommendations, I know damned well that the average DCite would love Soundpool with their Ivyesque sort of sound.

Quite a shame that DestroyAllDreamers had to back out at the last minute due to illness. They were absolutely devastated that they couldn't come. You know full well that they would have put on one hell of a show! Can't wait to see them when they come down once their 2nd album is released. I will be sure to set you up with them. ;)

Cool. If you can, try to make sure you see Bright Channel. I think you would like them. ;)
I see Bright Channel all the time in Denver. In fact, I just saw them open for BJM. You should check out fellow Denverites Mocassin, they used to be called Nightingale.

Mocassin are great! Wish they would come this way.
