they're skipping DC for now ( big surprise )…

The White Stripes will be on NPR's Fresh Air this weekend. I think tomorrow at 10pm on 90.9.

It's not that their skipping DC, I think, but that they haven't announced any east coast US dates at all yet. Chicago is the furthest east they've announced.

September is when the CMJ Music Marathon is happening, so I think every band I want to see will be touring that month. The Arcade Fire, Idlewild, Maximo Park, The White Stripes, etc. etc.

i have noticed summer to be sorta boring as far as concerts go, and spring and fall to be when all the good shows come. Thinking its cause of the European summer festivals everyone plays.

sonickteam i agree. except for that one week in june there isn't a whole lot going on; and it makes me wish i lived in:

-chicago
-london

or one of the other places with the big ass festivals…
