How is this mediocre looking disaster movie making all these waves in the news? I mean, it was directed by the people that did Independance Day, for chrissakes!

I think it's a poorly researched articule, of course someone form the Kato Institute is going to say something like that. Of course Jake Whosiwhat is going to say something like that.
It's just a case of a Hollywood studio realizing they have a stinker movie on thier hands so in order to put fanny's in the seats decide to create "controversy". I'm sure that the donation to Al Gore's library had nothing to do with his setting up town halls.
