i was living in south america in 95-96 when she was just coming up in colombia - and was still a brunette. i sooooooo had the hots for her back then, as did about 90% of the male population. not so much these days, not that i'd kick her out of bed b/c of cracker eating.

not sure how much derision will ensue from this, but Pink makes my list - not only is she attractive, but her attitude is totally sexy.

and does anyone remember the two backup singers PFunk had at their last show at the 9:30, back in Feb or March?!? riiiiiiiiiiiiiiidiculous.

Alita or whatever her name was. The one who died in a plane crash in the Bahamas maybe 10 years ago. I wasn't into her music which is why I can't remember her name but she was gorgeous.


I think one of the most photogenic is Gwen Stefani. She has those natural features, hair and such that work beautifully with the camera, especially from the neck up. Between her hair and bone structure, she's ideal for glamour shots and makes a photographer's job easy.

Ah, this is a great list as it demonstrates my favorite pet recurrence in rock: in a band that's mixed-sex, the chick is nearly always the bass player.

I swear, I didn't intend to make the point that women are always bass players. I almost included Carrie from Sleater Kinney but she didn't make the top 5.

Now, the fact is, if there is one woman in a band, chances are pretty good that she plays the bass. I even forgot another major one – I had such the hots for Kira when she was in Black Flag (when she was sporting the t-shirt and jeans look, not when she was all tarted up).
