i hope katie is treated like sinead

uh, it aint catholics that come up with godhatesfags.com. plenty of christian faiths aren't the most welcoming to alternate lifestyles. some are, though
Last time I checked, the definition of a Christian is someone who believes that Jesus was the divine savior of mankind put on earth to absolve humanity from its sins. Divine as in "Son of God" and part of the trinity of God, Christ, and Holy Ghost. So tell me, how exactly do Catholics not fit into the category of Christian? Not to mention the fact that for about 1,500 years what we now call Catholicism was the vast majority of all the Christians in existence. This is coming from a person raised Presbyterian by the way…
"Turkish Kebab & Pizza House" ??
James Buchanan liked a good kebab pizza every now & again, don't you know.
ah, james buchanan, what a proud heritage those orangemen have … i mean, how could JFK ever compete with buchanan?!
from wikipedia:

James Buchanan (April 23, 1791 â?? June 1, 1868) was the 15th (1857-1861) President of the United States. He was the only bachelor President, and the only resident of Pennsylvania to hold that office. He has been criticized for failing to prevent the country from sliding into schism and the American Civil War and as a result, he is widely considered to be the worst president in U.S. History. In a survey conducted by C-SPAN that ranked American presidents, a panel of historians rated him last overall and the general populace rated him last as well
Speaking of Kabob, best Kabob's are at Kabob Palace in Arlington

well, it's a little early for bush2, and nixon's foreign policy record is actually bipartisan-ly respected (except for that whole illegal carpet bombing thing) … and sure, there are a bunch of 19th century presidents who blew, but i think the knock on buchanan was that he really just didn't give a shit about being president, and he also presided over the final split between the north and the south, which i guess was a big deal.
I would be willing to bet that 99% of the general populace knows absolutely nothing about Buchanan other than the fact that he is considered "the worst president."

i'd be willing to bet that 97% of the population have no idea who james buchanan is, let along that he is considered "the worst president" … i'd also be willing to bet that 90% of the population could not name our last 5 or 6 presidents

i used to be constantly amazed at how little people know about anything outside their day-to-day lives (i could have said "how stupid people are", but refrained), i've recently just come to accept it

More Teens Can Name Three Stooges Than Can Name Three Branches of Government
I like how threads can go from Katie Holmes to the three branches of government just like that. You wouldn't find that on the CBGB forum.
