i just got an email from beck, saying he was playing something called the la weekly detour festival, and also on the bill is REDD KROSS!
is this their return? have i been out of a loop? i haven't heard of them playing or doing anything since, like oh my god, the late nineties.

Hell, they started putting out records in 1980 and 1981, one of them being when they were originally called Red Cross. I remember Annette's Got the Hits being a semi-hit, and I had it on a Posh Boy compilation when I was in junior high, which would be around 82, 83. God I'm old.

They were definitely still around and touring in the early nineties, though with a different lineup backing the McDonald bros. I saw them at Hammerjacks (yikes!) in Baltimore around that time. Last album I know of was Show World, which came out in the late nineties.
