for the uninitiated, this is a monthly dj event that mostly focuses on the jingle-jangle side of guitar pop. So, somewhat indie, but not in that Matador records vein, never mind Interpol and the likes. Think twee, think early Creation Records, think Flying Nun Records, and whatever branches off of Belle & Sebastian these days. Basically, music for a bunch of nice and less-than-fashionable kids…
