I liked it when it first came out, but preferred the previous Rentals album. I have not listened to it much in the last couple of years though.

Do you? If I remember correctly, it was greatly influenced by Matt Sharp's long stay in Spain.

I think I like it - only watched 2 episodes so far - needless to say its very like Seinfeld, only much grumpier
I watched some news program interview Larry David last night. He truly believes he's a good person. I find that laughable.

What a great flick. No wonder it got buried because of 9/11. Too real!

Something tells me Mankie would like this film..?

I prefer the first one. This one is ok, but not great. I was asking because I was curious, I think after he left Weezer he moved to Barcelona and enjoyed the city. The picture in the cd was taken there and there is a song about the city (not a great song), but it is always great to have someone from another country talk about your city.

figures, the drummer on the second album is the current GBV drummer, you probably sensed his future or something :D

I didn't know that, but that might explain the decent-to-poor quality of the cd. Kidding, maybe the low quality of the cd was due to Barcelona's influence.

I once bought a GBV cd and the drummer was the former drummer of the Breeders and Amps. I guess there have been talented musicians in GBV.

I'd have to agree the 1st one is much much better than the 7 minutes release.I played the 1st one too death,2nd one probably got maybe a dozen spins at the most,no contest IMHO.Probably has to do with the fact that he'd been accumulating his songs while in Weezer(not to mention the material generated by their seemingly less than amicable split, but then had to release the 2nd w/out as much time passing for his creativity to shine through.Love those moogs.
