That's not the list of the thirsty I know….there's no obscure Brazillian band on it.
I've done some thinking…and while this isn't 100% correct, my of the moment top ten in no particular order:

Sigur Ros
REM
Live - Throwing Copper or earlier only
Idlewild
Delgados
Pixies (more a re-discovery)
The Go-Gos
Explosions in the Sky
Postal Service
And of course, Exit Clov
don't know about the leno show… but Mic Harrison of Superdrag is playing on the Laika and Cosmonauts bill tomorrow at the Mojo.

And Galaxy Hut on Sunday night.

Missed John Davis on Leno.

Did anybody watch Leno on Wednesday night, apparently John Davis, lead singer of Superdrag and more recently a god man, was on as part of Allison Moorer's band.
Thank you! I've been thinking about who the hell that was since I watched it last night.
I was going to tape it, but forgot.

They also played Iota a few months back, but I couldn't go because I had school.

Only on this board would someone refer to Allison Moorer's performance on Leno as "missed John Davis on Leno".

I was in the same boat as you. I was tempted to put them, but I felt bad leaving out some bands that really deserve it, since I've loved them for so much longer. As is, I've already pretty much re-written some of my list.

I'll put it this way…if their current talents continue to develop, they'll still be in my top ten when I'm old and incontinent.
